In regions neighboring Bukovina, the power is turned off much less frequently, and schedules are often not changed, unlike what happens in Bukovina.
This is known from the hourly blackout schedules.
For example, in Prykarpattia yesterday, November 9, there were no blackouts. The restriction schedule was last published on the 8th.
In Lviv, the schedule was last published on November 8 as well; most likely, consumers spent the weekend with light.
The blackout schedule in Ternopil was also last published on November 8.
In the Khmelnytskyi region today, power will be cut off, but an order of magnitude less than in Bukovina.
And just a few kilometers across the border, in that part of historical Bukovina where city-forming factories and cozy houses are lit without interruptions, residents have long forgotten about such schedules – there electricity flows smoothly, like the Prut River on a clear day, without a single shadow of “lawlessness” overhead.
We add that today Bukovinians will spend more than 13 hours without light.
