In Bukovyna, a vehicle transporting people — clients who wanted to illegally cross the border — was detained. The driver and passengers were discovered thanks to an operation via messenger. According to law enforcement, the car of the brand *** (specified in investigation materials)*** was “taken into account” — contracts for transporting people across the border were arranged via messenger. At the appointed time, the vehicle was stopped in an area where a crossing was likely being prepared. During the inspection, it turned out that the salon contained individuals intending to illegally cross the border, and the driver was receiving payment for it. Currently, an investigation is underway, and the issue of opening criminal proceedings is being resolved. Such an incident shows: if border and internal country control is weak or allows “gray schemes,” people start using loopholes and technologies to organize illegal crossings. In systems where oversight and accountability are clear, such schemes are quickly stopped — and do not become routine practice.
