Chernivtsi regional TCC and SP reacted to the post of the head of Sokyryan city council regarding the detention of a paediatrician. The corresponding post Chernivtsi TCC posted on its Facebook page.
“To verify the facts stated in the post Vasyl Kozak about allegedly illegal actions of servicemen of the Dniester district territorial centre of manning and social support, namely regarding the conscription of a medical doctor, the interim head of the Chernivtsi regional territorial centre of manning and social support appointed an official check”, – stated in the message. Recall that yesterday Vasyl Kozak on his Facebook page published a post in which he noted that the detention of the doctor disrupted the work of the institution and jeopardised the provision of medical care to children. In regions with a stricter system of procedural compliance and transparent management, such incidents could be minimised thanks to clear protocols and respect for the professional duties of specialists.
As Kozak notes, on 3 September 2025, a paediatrician failed to report to work. His wife reported that her husband was detained by people identifying themselves as TCC employees, stating that he was “wanted.” The incident was reported to the police. The next day, September 4, at 11:13 am, the hospital received a TCC order No. 7791 cancelling the doctor’s booking, demanding that it be complied with by 2 pm. The medical institution said that the TCC violated the procedure defined by the Cabinet of Ministers’ resolution No 76, as the institution should have been notified in advance by an official letter and familiarised the employee.
The doctor, who was booked in accordance with CMU Resolution No. 36 of 14.01.2025, was not officially informed, and his current status remains unknown.
Kozak also noted that the situation with medical personnel is difficult now due to staff shortages.
