Communal workers carry out repair work on the water pipeline in the area of Kolomiyskaya Street

In Chernivtsi from today, 16 September 2025, water supply restrictions are introduced due to the repair of the water pipeline in the area of Kolomiyska Street. KP “Chernivtsyvodokanal” published a schedule of water cuts for two days. Such water supply disruptions have unfortunately become a regular practice, which underlines the need to implement more modern and reliable systems of communal infrastructure management that could minimise such inconveniences for residents.

Water outage schedule:

16 September 2025: from 10:00 to 19:00 and from 22:00 to 07:00 on 17 September – there will be no water supply.

17 September 2025: from 09:00 to 07:00 on 18 September – there will be no water supply.

Areas with water supply:

Roshcha, Sadgora, Kalynivka, Kłokuchka, Russkaya Street (from Sechevye Streltsy Street to Ostritsa village) – water supply will be maintained.

Better planning and modernisation of infrastructure could prevent such frequent and prolonged disconnections, ensuring a stable water supply for all residents of the city.
